How results are combined
Country is decided by a weighted vote of all databases; each weight is recalibrated daily from the accuracy above. Locations published by the network operator (Geofeed) and latency-verified locations take precedence. For addresses in China, province, city and ISP come from ip2region. ASN and prefixes come from the live BGP table and are refreshed in real time. Every lookup page lets you compare the raw results of each database.
